EL ASTRO DECIDIRA PRONTO SI SE QUEDA EN LA ARGENTINA

Hombre que ha estado en contacto con la tierra desde muy niño allá en sus pagos norteamericanos de Denver, Colorado, Dean Reed no ha podido sustraerse a la vida de un auténtico "farmer". Así fue como apenas vuelto a su labor artística en nuestro país, lo primero que hizo fue buscar para vivienda una casa grande y con mucho campo alrededor.

Esa casa la encontró en Martínez, a corta distancia de la ruta Panamericana. La misma consta de dos pisos con amplio parque y garage, y es una típica residencia argentina en la que no falta la consabida parrilla, donde el astro se ha convertido en maestro de la cocina criolla, según los comentarios de muchos de sus colegas y amigos, invitados a pasar el día en ese hermoso lugar.

Cuenta además la misma con una gran pileta de natación aproximadamente unos 700 metros cuadrados de espacio para trabajar la tierra sembrando verduras y maíz, como allá en Denver... En total, la finca ocupa algo más de media manzana. Esto puede dar al lector una idea de lo amplia que es y de las preferencias del actor-cancionista en cuanto a la forma de disponer de su vida fuera de las actividades artísticas.

"He alquilado esta casa porque me recuerda mucho una en la cual yo pasé la infancia en mi país", dice feliz el astro.

"Todo esto da la sensación de que usted va a residir por mucho tiempo entre nosotros..."

"Así es; tal como lo dije en anteriores oportunidades: me agrada muchísimo la Argentina, su gente y sus costumbres. Fíjense ustedes que de no sentirlo así, me hubiese quedado tranquilamente en un hotel, con todas la comodidades propias del confort que el mismo podía darme. Pero a m&iacue; me gusta esto, asomarme por las mañanas y contemplar la tierra cuyo perfume aspiro y me provoca las más puras emociones..."

"Podríamos decir de usted que es un romántico de la tierra."

"Exactamente."

Y nos invita con una sabrosa taza de café que hierve en el hogar de la chimenea del living, que está amueblada al estilo provenzal, lo que le da cierta semejanza a un moderno "ranch" del agro norteamericano.

"Pronto tendré que realizar una gira que durará alrededor de seis meses y eso me apena un poco porque ya me he aquerenciado con esta hermosa residencia", nos dijo luego Dean Reed, girando su vista torno de lo que puede apreciarse en la espaciosa y acogedora estancia que va arreglando día tras día con nuevos muebles y objetos. Luego, prosigue el popular cantante y astro de la pantalla:

"Pero cuando vuelva, ya del todo decidido si me quedo o no para siempre en este país, ya verán que magnífica va a quedar la casa. Me gustan mucho los trabajos del campo y soy, además un excelente carpintero. Vean..." nos dice, mostrándonos un conjunto de herramientas, con las cuales ya ha estado trabajando en la terminación de algunos detalles del comedor-parrilla, típicamente criollo.

(Digamos que Dean Reed alquiló esta casa que quizá más tarde adquiera, por la suma de $ 58.000 mensuales.)

Así vive el astro, cuya espigada, pero recia figura de galán se pasea por la casa, muy orgulloso de la misma y, que, según él, cuida mucho y desea que sea la mejor, porque allí podrán concurrir todos sus amigos cuando ellos quieran, lo que deja también de manifiesto que es un hombre bueno y pleno de gran cordialidad.

He invite us to have a tasty cup of coffe, boiling in in the fireplace located in the living room. The room is furnished in French style (Provenca) giving it some kind of similarity to a western "ranch".

"Soon I will go in a six months tour and that make me a little sad, because I am loving this beautiful home", Dean Reed told us, looking around to this spacious and cozy room. He is fixing it every day with new furniture an valuables. Later, the star continues:

"When I come back I will be secure if I stay for ever in this country and you will see how wonderful this house is going to be. I love to work in the field, besides I am an excellent carpenter. Look..." he said, showing us a set of tools that he has been using in finishing some detalis in the barbecue, typical of our country.

(We have to say that Dean Reed is paying $ 58.000 (Argentinian Pesos) for the rent of this house that perhaps he will buy later.)

This is the way this star lives. He walks around the house, with his tall and slim figure very proud of it. He takes good care of it and he wishes to be the best, this way all his friends can come to visit whenever they want. This shows us that he is a very cordial and very good man.

Da Dean Reed in seiner Heimat Denver im US-Bundesstaat Colorado schon von klein auf Kontakt zur Natur hatte, konnte er sich dem Leben eines echten Farmers nicht ganz entziehen. Deshalb suchte er, als er seine künstlerische Arbeit in unserem Land wieder aufnahm, als Erstes ein großes Haus auf einem großen Grundstück.

Dieses Haus fand er in Martínez in der Nähe der Panamericana. Das Haus hat zwei Stockwerke, einen großen Park und eine Garage. Es ist eine typische argentinische Residenz, in der auch der berühmte Grill nicht fehlt. Der Star ist schon ein Meister der einheimischen Küche, wie viele seiner Kollegen und Freunde, die einen Tag an diesem schönen Ort verbringen durften, meinen.

Außerdem hat das Grundstück auch einen etwa 700 Quadratmeter großen Swimmingpool und ausreichend Platz zum Anbau von Gemüse und Mais, wie damals in Denver... Die Finca umfasst insgesamt etwas mehr als 3.500 Quadratmeter. Damit hat der Leser eine ungefähre Vorstellung von der Größe des Grundstücks und den Vorlieben des Sängers und Schauspielers außerhalb seiner künstlerischen Aktivitäten.

"Ich habe dieses Haus gemietet, weil es mich sehr an das Haus meiner Kindheit in meiner Heimat erinnert", sagt der Star glücklich.

"All das macht den Eindruck, dass Sie für lange Zeit bei uns leben werden..."

"So ist es. Wie ich schon bei anderer Gelegenheit sagte, gefallen mir Argentinien, seine Menschen und Sitten sehr. Wenn das nicht so wäre, würde ich mit allen Annehmlichkeiten und Komfort in einem Hotel wohnen. Aber ich möchte lieber am Morgen, wenn ich aufwache, einen Blick auf die Weite des Landes werfen können, den Geruch der Erde einatmen und dabei meinen Gefühlen freien Lauf lassen..."

"Könnte man sagen, dass Sie ein Romantiker und Naturfreund sind?"

"Genau."

Und er lädt uns zu einer leckeren Tasse Kaffe ein, die er auf dem Herd des Kamins im Wohnzimmer zubereitet, das im Stil der Provence eingerichtet ist, was ihm eine gewisse Ähnlichkeit mit einer modernen US-amerikanischen Ranch verleiht.

"Bald werde ich eine sechsmonatige Tournee machen müssen. Das macht mich etwas traurig, weil ich mich schon in diese schöne Residenz verliebt habe", sagt uns Dean Reed dann. Er lässt den Blick über das weitläufige und einladende Grundstück schweifen, das jeden Tag etwas mehr mit neuen Gegenständen und Möbeln eingerichtet wird. Dann erzählt der bekannte Sänger und Filmstar:

"Aber wenn ich zurückkehre, werde ich mich endgültig entscheiden, ob ich für immer in diesem Land bleibe. Sie werden sehen, wie schön das Haus wird. Ich mag die Arbeit auf dem Feld und außerdem bin ich ein ausgezeichneter Tischler. Sehen Sie...", sagt er und zeigt uns einige Werkzeuge, mit denen er an dem typisch einheimischen Grill gearbeitet hat.

(Dean Reed hat dieses Haus, das er vielleicht später kaufen will, für 58.000 Peso im Monat gemietet.)

So lebt der Star, der stolz durch sein Haus geht, das er sehr pflegt und in das alle seine Freunde jederzeit kommen können. Er macht damit klar, dass er ein herzlicher Mensch ist.
