Vida De Vagabundo

Nuestro viejo conocido Dean Reed se encuentra en estos momentos filmando en la República Democratica de Alemania (Oriental). El tema de la película viene muy justo a lo que ha sido su vida: no por lo de "vagabundo", sí por esa constancia en recorrer el mundo.

Se trata de "La vida de un vagabundo", cuyo rodaje se realiza en el nombrado país y Rumania; la acción está ubicada a principios del siglo XIX. Acompañan a Dean Reed, protagonista masculino, la polaca Anna Ziadick y Mónica Beliweise, alemana, las dos en carácter de co-estrellas.

El argumento se centra en la vida de un joven violinista que está siempre en lucha con la sociedad de la época, porque él quiere dar su talento y arte en forma gratuita, mientras que esa sociedad dice que debe trabajar como "los demás".

Por tres veces, en el argumento del filme, el personaje que plasma Dean Reed se aviene a trabajar tal como le piden las autoridades, pero por tantas oportunidades escapa para realizar lo que constituye a su "manera más agradable de vivir". O sea, viajar, cantar en los pueblos, dormir bajo los árboles, siempre en la compañía de un compañero, su perro.

Como es de suponer, el alegre vagabundo tendrá sus enredos amorosos. En un caso renuncia a ese amor porque piensa que ella es una princesa real que le oculta su identidad. Sin embargo, todo se aclarará. La autora del libro es la alemana Vera Kuchenmeister, y la dirección está a cargo de Celíno Bleiweise, en la realidad, esposo de esa princesa de la trama.

Our old friend Dean Reed is in East Germany making a movie, very similar to what his life has been: not for being a vagrant, but because he is always traveling around the world.

It's been shooting in the well known country of Romania. It's about a "vagrant's life" at the beginning of the XIX century. In the main role is Dean Reed, having as co-stars the Polish Anna Ziadick and Monica Beliweise from Germany.

The plot is about a young violinist who fights against the society at that time, because he wants to give his talent and art for free, while this society says that he has to work "as everybody else".

About three times in the movie, the character played by Dean Reed agrees to work with the authorities, but everytime that he has the opportunity, runs away to live according to what he thinks is "the most pleasant way to live", meaning: traveling, singing for the people, and sleeping under the trees accompanied by his dog.

As everybody expects, the happy vagrant will have his love affairs. In one of the cases he resigns to the love of one of the ladies, because he thinks that she is a princess, hiding her true identity. Nevertheless, the situation became clear. The author of this book is a German woman named Vera Kuchenmaister, and in charge of the direction is Celíno Bleiweise, who in the real life is the husband of the princess in the movie.

Das Leben eines Vagabunden

Unser alter Bekannter Dean Reed dreht zur Zeit einen Film in der Deutschen Demokratischen Republik (Ostdeutschland). Das Thema des Films kommt seinem eigenen Leben sehr nahe: nicht weil er ein "Taugenichts" wäre, sondern weil er ständig in der Welt umherreist.

Der Film heißt "Aus dem Leben eines Taugenichts" und wird in der DDR und in Rumänien gedreht. Die Handlung ist Anfang des 19. Jahrhunderts angesiedelt. An der Seite des männlichen Hauptdarstellers Dean Reed spielen die polnische Schauspielerin Anna Dziadyk und die deutsche Schauspielerin Monika Woytowicz.

Das Drehbuch erzählt von dem Leben eines jungen Geigers, der immer wieder an die Grenzen der damaligen Gesellschaft stößt, weil er sein Talent und seine Kunst verschenken möchte. Aber diese Gesellschaft sagt, dass er arbeiten soll "wie die anderen".

Dreimal sucht sich der Filmheld, den Dean Reed spielt, eine Arbeit wie es die Obrigkeit von ihm verlangt. Aber jedes Mal flieht er wieder, um "auf die angenehmste Art zu leben". Also reist er, singt in den Dörfern, schläft unter Bäumen, immer in Begleitung seines Hundes.

Wie zu vermuten ist, hat der fröhliche Vagabund auch seine Liebesgeschichte. Einmal verzichtet er auf diese Liebe, weil er denkt, dass seine Angebetete in Wahrheit eine Prinzessin ist, die ihm ihre Identität nicht offenbart. Am Ende klärt sich jedoch alles auf. Das Drehbuch stammt von Wera Küchenmeister und Regie führt Celino Bleiweiß, der im wahren Leben der Ehemann der vermeintlichen Prinzessin ist.
