Conquista España "Mister Simpatía"
PARA CARNAVAL ANUNCIA SU VUELTA EL CANTANTE DEAN REED
"Yo aconsejaria a tantos turistas compatriotas mios que vienen a Espana que, luego de observar las bellezas geograficas y edificias de este pais, se dediquen a descubrir lo mas hermoso que hay aqui: la gente". La declaracion pertenece al cantante norteamericano Dean Reed, que ha conquistado la Madre Patria, pero es evidente que tambiens ha sido conquistado por ella.
Todo el mundo lo conoce ya como "Mister Simpatia". Su actuacion personal en la sala mas elegante de Madrid, y mas tarde su presentacion en la television espanola y la intensa promocion que el mismo hace de sus ultimos discos en todas las radios, han convertido al popular actor y cantante en una figura muy querida y admirada por el publico espanol.
Dean acaba de recibir dos brillantes propuestas cinematograficas, pero debio rechazarlas ante la falta material de tiempo. Sin embargo, antes de partir hacia Rusia, es muy probable que tenga una participacion especial en un filme haciendo pareja con la joven cantante Massiel, a quien se vincula sentimentalmente a nuestro compatriota Luis Aguile. Ella es considerada una de las mas populares figuras jovenes de la cancion moderna europea, (creadora de la cancion-protesta) y la pelicula que la reunira con Dean sera dirigida por Mario Camus.
Cabe destacar que Dean Reed es el primer cantante norteamericano de musica popular que ha sido contratado por Rusia. Luego de su gira por ese pais, en el que tiene programado casi treinta conciertos con orquesta y con su guitarra, debera presentarse en la television italiana. Ademas grabara una serie de discos alli mismo, al igual de lo que esta haciendo en Espana.
En todas las entrevistas que el periodismo madrileno le haca a "Mister Simpatia", este no pierde ocasion de destacar su profundo carino por la Argentina y su publico. "Proyecto retornar a ese gran pais para los Carnavales ha dicho hace poco; alli me espera tambien el rodaje de una pelicula, a las ordenes del director Enrique Carreras". Pero despues tendra que volver a Espana, ya que el cine de esa nacion tambien lo reclama para protagonizar una coproduccion hispano-francesa, en la que compartira honores con la famosa cantante Sylvie Vartan.
"Quien ama a la Argentina, por fuerza ama tambien a Espana -dijo Dean Reed-; a veces me parece que Madrid es una continuacion de Buenos Aires, aunque historicamente sea al reves".

"I would advice my compatriots coming to Spain as tourists that after watching the geographic and architectural beauty of this country, try to discover the most beautiful asset in here: the people". This comment belongs to the North American singer Dean Reed whom has captivated the Madre Patria but is evident that he has also been captivated.
Everybody already knows him as "Mr. Simpatia". His personal performance in the most elegant room in Madrid, and later his presentation in television and the intense promotion he has been doing for his latest records in all the radios, has made the popular actor and singer a figure well admired and loved by the public of Spain.
Dean just got a couple of brilliant cinematographic proposals, but he had to reject them due to lack of time. Nevertheless, before he goes to Russia it is possible that he gets an special role in a film having as a co-star the young singer Massiel, who is in a relationship with our compatriot Luis Aguile. She's considerate one of the most popular young figures of European modern songs (creator of protest songs), and the movie that will reunite her with Dean will be directed by Mario Camus.
We must say that Dean Reed is the first North American pop singer hired by Russia. After his tour around this country in which he has almost thirty concerts scheduled accompanied by orchestra and his guitar, he has to be in the Italian television. Besides he will record some records as well, as he did in Spain.
In all the interviews done to "Mr. Simpatia" by the journalists of Madrid he takes the opportunity to show his deep love for Argentina and it's public. "I am planning to return to that great country for the Carnivals he just said; and to make a movie under the direction of Enrique Carreras". Afterwards he will have to return to Spain because the cinematography of this country wants him to be in a Spanish-French production in which he will share honors with the famous singer Sylvie Vartan.
"Who loves Argentina, he has to love Spain too", said Dean Reed. "Sometimes it seems to me that Madrid is a continuation of Buenos Aires, although according to the history is the opposite".

"Ich würde meinen Landsleuten empfehlen, als Touristen nach Spanien zu kommen, damit sie sich die schönen Landschaften und wunderbaren Gebäude dieses Landes ansehen können, aber vor allem damit sie den größten Reichtum hier entdecken: die Menschen." Dies erklärte der US-amerikanische Sänger Dean Reed, der Spanien erobert hat, wobei offensichtlich umgekehrt auch Spanien ihn erobert hat.
Alle Welt kennt ihn schon als "Mister Simpatía". Sein Konzert in der elegantesten Konzerthalle Madrids und später sein Auftritt im spanischen Fernsehen sowie die intensive Werbung, die er im Radio für seine letzten Schallplatten macht, haben den beliebten Schauspieler und Sänger berühmt gemacht. Das spanische Publikum liebt und bewundert ihn.
Dean hat gerade zwei verlockende Filmangebote erhalten, aber er musste sie leider aus Zeitgründen ablehnen. Aber wahrscheinlich spielt er noch vor seiner Abreise nach Russland in einem Film an der Seite der jungen Sängerin Massiel, die mit unserem Landmann Luis Aguile liiert ist. Sie gilt als eine der populärsten jungen Persönlichkeiten des modernen europäischen Liedes (Schöpferin des Protestliedes). Regisseur des Films, in dem sie zusammen mit Dean spielen wird, ist Mario Camus.
Hervorzuheben ist, dass Dean Reed der erste US-amerikanische Popsänger ist, den Russland verpflichtet. Nach seiner Tournee durch dieses Land, in dem er fast 30 Konzerte mit einem Orchester und mit seiner Gitarre geben wird, erwarten ihn Auftritte im italienischen Fernsehen. Dort wird er, ebenso wie in Spanien, auch noch eine Reihe von Schallplatten aufnehmen.
In allen Interviews, die "Mister Simpatía" den Madrider Medien gibt, versäumt er nie die Gelegenheit, seine tiefe Liebe zu Argentinien und seinem Publikum hervorzuheben. "Ich plane, zum Karneval in dieses große Land zurückzukehren", hat er vor kurzem gesagt, "dort will ich auch einen Film mit dem Regisseur Enrique Carreras drehen". Aber danach muss er wieder nach Spanien, denn hier soll er an der Seite der berühmten Sängerin Sylvie Vartan in einer spanisch-französischen Koproduktion mitspielen.
"Wer Argentinien liebt, liebt zwangsläufig auch Spanien", sagte Dean Reed, "manchmal kommt es mir so vor, als wäre Madrid eine Fortsetzung von Buenos Aires, obwohl es historisch gesehen eigentlich umgekehrt ist".
